Cash, wallets taken from homes in weekend thefts

AS someone slept in their Berserker St home on Sunday, unknown offenders stole a wallet and cigarettes from the kitchen bench. 

The theft happened between 1am and 7am after offenders entered the house through an unlocked rear door. 

In a separate incident, offenders cut the fly screen on a sliding door to enter a house on Elphinstone St between Saturday and Sunday. 

The offenders stole a JAG ladies wallet, cash and cigarettes.
