CCTV footage review after alleged rape near ferry terminal

QUEENSLAND Police are planning to review CCTV footage after a woman was allegedly raped near an inner-city Brisbane ferry terminal at the weekend.

The middle-aged woman was assaulted near a footpath in the vicinity of the Thornton St ferry terminal at Kangaroo Point about midnight on Saturday.

It is understood the woman was walking home from the terminal, after catching a late night CityCat, when she was assaulted.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area late on Saturday night or in the early hours of Sunday morning to contact them.
