Chief executives share secrets for success with Rockhampton

PRODIGY and chief executive John Kochanski and former DrizaBone chief executive John Maguire are on their way to Rockhampton for a business evening on Tuesday.

Mr Kochanski will share practical tips to help businesses ensure their clients think of them first.

Mr Kochanski's company offers services across marketing, communications, brand strategy, multimedia, advertising and retail.

Mr Maguire is now a consultant and mentor to small and medium-size businesses and he will focus on the critical success factors for businesses to thrive.

He will inspire with his story of growing Driza-Bone, through many ups and downs, into an iconic Australian business.

The evening, Evolve or Die - The two choices for your business, is hosted by the Queensland Government, Capricornia Chamber of Commerce, Regional Development Australia Fitzroy and Central West, and CQUniversity Australia.

This is a free event and will be held at CQUniversity's Rockhampton campus from 5.15pm (for 5.30pm start) until 8pm.

In addition to the guest speakers, the audience will be engaged in a facilitated discussion aimed at more deeply understanding the challenges that businesses face and the best options for support that could be provided in the coming 12 months.

CQUniversity's Dr Susan Kinnear said this business evening followed on from a recent business survey.
