Child bitten by dog in Gracemere

A DOG bite seemed to prompt a public disturbance in Gracemere this morning.

A spokesperson from the Queensland Police Service said officers were called to Brodie Dr around 11am after a child was bitten by a dog.

A "large disturbance” then started between two parties at the address, but everyone had left the scene by the time police arrived.

The nature of the child's injuries are unknown.
