Cometh the hour, cometh the man

JULIAN Khazzouh has led the Sydney Kings to an enthralling 107-103 overtime win against the Adelaide 36ers on Thursday night in Sydney.

It was supposed to be all over when Chris Warren's three-point bomb put Adelaide two points up at the death.

With 2.5sec on the clock, it was a case of cometh the hour, cometh the man. And that man was Khazzouh.

A drive to the basket on the final buzzer gave the Kings' centre two free throws to rescue the game, bringing The King dome to its feet. He sank both to draw level at 100 apiece.

The momentum now firmly with the home side, Khazzouh then dominated with three boards and three swats in overtime to secure the win. His total of 20 points, 21 rebounds, four assists and three blocks were the difference.
