Concerns over Mt Morgan’s landscape after NBN tower request

ROCKHAMPTON Regional Council yesterday moved to postpone a motion to allow a trustee lease to the NBN for broadband services in Mt Morgan.

NBNCo requested to enter the lease over part of L203 Creek St for the purpose of constructing a telecommunication tower.

But councillors agreed to review the motion again on December 8, when a street view photograph could be made available after concerns were raised by councillor Cherie Rutherford over the visibility of the town's heritage mine stack.
