Concrete water tank splits due to heat of shed fire

FIRE crews were called to a shed on fire at a Browns Ln property in Farnborough last night.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said they received a number of Triple Zero calls in relation to the blaze.

Crews arrived about 6.50pm to find the shed fully involved.

The spokeswoman said the heat was so strong it split a nearby concrete water tank.

She said firefighters worked to protect the house.

The shed was destroyed, but no other property was damaged.

It is believed a man was home. There were no injuries.

The fire was extinguished by 9pm.

The cause is still being investigated.
