Confidence is key for Mrs Rockhampton Galaxy

JENNA Kerschbaumer is all about self-confidence.

And the Rockhampton model is hoping that her self-confidence, along with her passion for being a good role model to others, will help her win the title of Mrs Galaxy Australia 2015.

Jenna won Mrs Rockhampton Galaxy last year and will be competing at the end of the month for the national title.

The 26-year-old said she was introduced to the Galaxy pageant three years ago.

"An advertisement for the Mrs Galaxy Pageant popped up on my computer one day," she said.

"I wasn't really happy when I was younger because I didn't have a lot of self-confidence and when I saw the advertisement I wanted to give it a go because it was something different."

As Rockhampton's Mrs Galaxy, Jenna gets the chance to be a positive role model for her community.

"I've been fundraising for the Make a Wish Foundation since August and I've raised over $2000," she said.

"I love being Mrs Rockhampton Galaxy because it's turned me into a more positive person and I love being able to raise money for sick children.

The local personal training graduate and model said she also wanted to win the competition so she could be an inspiration to younger girls.

Rockhampton's Beyond Gravity Pole Fitness Academy are sponsoring Jenna to attend the pageant on March 26.

Jenna will also be making a princess appearance at the Crazy Joker on March 21 to raise funds for the Make a Wish Foundation.
