Cops raid home to find drugs and firearm

ROCKHAMPTON police have charged a man and woman after raiding their Frenchville home to find dangerous drugs and a firearm.

Police executed a search warrant of their Coome Street home around 6.20am yesterday.

The 26-year-old man will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court this morning.

He has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and one count each of possessing a dangerous drug and possession of property relating to a drug offence.

The 19-year-old woman was charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous drug and one count of possess utensils.

She is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on December 7.
