Couple jailed for shooting at police

A MAN and woman have been jailed for shooting at police while being chased through Brisbane streets in a BMW after fleeing a random breath test last year.

Tony Kristen John Anderson, 31, was jailed for 10 years and Kathy-Maree Green, 34, for two years and nine months. They received "absolute" driving disqualifications.

Anderson, who was convicted after a trial, was declared a serious violent offender which means he must serve 80% of his sentence.

Green panicked when police pulled them over, injuring an officer when she reversed.
