Riley has two dates and a Rolls to rock the formal in style

MONTHS of preparation and planning will come to a head for Emmaus College Year 12 student Riley Neaton, when he arrives at his formal in a Rolls-Royce on November 16.

It is formal time of year again, and while many of his friends - especially the boys - had only organised outfits and partners a few weeks ago, Riley was ahead of his game.

"I like to be organised," the 17-year-old said.

So organised in fact, he has arranged to take two partners to the formal.

Earlier this year, he asked friend Tamika Langdon to accompany him to the formal, to be held at Emmaus College next Saturday.

"We've been friends for ages, and it was an easy decision to go with each other... we chatted about what we were wearing and decided to go matching. I personally don't think it's important to match - but it's nice and you look better on the walk through," Riley said.

"It's more about enjoying the evening, and enjoying being with your mates before everyone goes their separate ways after school."

While Tamika will be donning a black and silver number, Riley decided on a navy blue jacket, black and white patterned shirt, black pants and black bow tie.

The pair will arrive at Emmaus College in style, in a Rolls-Royce where no doubt, they will stun onlookers during the walk through.

Once Riley has finished walking Tamika down the red carpet, he will dash round the back, switch into a black blazer and meet his second date Sarah Anderson.

"Sarah is an old friend and she wasn't going with anyone, so I offered to walk through with her as well," he added.

The gentleman will mix and mingle with both dates, friends and parents ahead of dinner; however once at dinner, Riley said he's sitting with the boys.

"We got to choose who we could sit with, so I'm sitting with all the boys I've been friends with since Grade 8 at school, and we've all played rugby league and touch together

"It will be sad to leave Emmaus... I will miss seeing my friends the most."
