Cow dies after crash with four-wheel drive

A MACKAY couple had a lucky escape but unfortunately the same can't be said for the cow they hit along the Bruce Highway on Saturday night.
A Gin Gin police spokesman said the male driver and his female passenger were uninjured in the crash, which happened about 9pm near Kolonga, north of Gin Gin.
The couple's four-wheel-drive was however severely damaged and the cow was killed.
