CQ boy, 3, drowns in dam tragedy

A JAMBIN family is trying to come to terms with the death of their three-year-old after he drowned in the family dam on Friday night.

An RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service spokesperson said an intensive care paramedic was transported to the scene after reports an infant had fallen into a dam.

The RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service arrived at 7.06pm and CPR was performed by both the parents of the child and the paramedic but he could not be revived.
