CQ Catholic teachers strike this morning for better pay

CATHOLIC teachers across Central Queensland are expected to strike this morning as their campaign for better pay continues.

More than 7500 Catholic school union members in over 180 schools across Queensland are authorised to stop work to air their concerns regarding increasing workloads and wages.

This is the sixth industrial action the teachers have taken as part of their current campaign.

Today's action will be from 8.30am to 9am.
