CQ man faces drug charges

A 53-YEAR-OLD man will face court after police allegedly located a drug lab south of Gladstone this morning.

Police executed a search warrant at an Oyster Creek Road house and shed, south of Agnes Water about 10.30am.

Regional Crime Coordinator Detective Inspector Cal Lynch said a drug squad from Brisbane had travelled to the area to conduct an examination of property.

The man has been charged with one count each of producing a dangerous drug, possession of equipment used in a crime and three counts of possession of a substance or thing.

He is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court later this month.
