CQ man jailed for two years after throwing homemade bombs

A CENTRAL Queensland man has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after he threw petrol bombs at a property in Berserker last year.

Phillip James Green pleaded guilty in the Rockhampton District Court today to two counts of attempted arson.

The court heard Green was "recruited" by Rockhampton man Darren Festa to throw homemade molotov cocktails at a home in Berserker.

Green's defence barrister Ross LoMonaco said Festa's vendetta against Smith was unknown.

Green will be released on parole in July.
