CQ police officer stood down
A CONSTABLE from the Central Police Region has been stood down over allegations including misuse of a police vehicle.
The 36-year-old man will work in a non-operational role pending the finalisation of internal investigations into a number of incidents in the past two years.
Police this afternoon said the matters related to both on and off-duty behaviour and also included an allegation of failing to obey a direction.
The Ethical Standards Command and the Crime and Misconduct Commission are overseeing the investigation.
