Caravan rolls on Bruce Hwy

UPDATE 3pm: Ambulance, police officers and fire fighters were called to the scene of an accident at 10.36am involving a car pulling a caravan on the Bruce Hwy.

The caravan rolled about 20km north of Marlborough.

It is unknown what caused the accident.

A spokesman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said a man was transported to the Rockhampton Hospital as a precaution, after suffering minor injuries.

The Bruce Hwy was closed for a short period of time while the vehicle and caravan were retreived, but has since reopened.

BREAKING 11.30am: A crash has partially blocked the Bruce Highway 23km north of Marlborough.

Ambulance officers are on the scene.

It is believed only minor injuries have been sustained by those involved.

No further details are known at this point.
