Crash on main Rocky road, traffic not impacted

UPDATE 11.45AM: FIVE patients including two children have been transported to Rockhampton hospital following a two-vehicle crash.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman confirmed they were all in a stable condition and were suffering from minor soft tissue related injuries.

It is believed the children are aged four and eight.

The call came in at 10.31 and the road has been since re-opened.

INITIAL REPORT 10.30AM: EMERGENCY services are being called to a crash in Rockhampton.

The crash has occurred on Fitzroy and Alma streets.

Traffic is not believed to be interrupted.

It is understood there are no entrapments.
