Readers share their creative cake skills with photographs

PRINCESS castles, Tweety Bird and crocodiles - Kylie Walker's kids always have an animated birthday cake.

The Rockhampton mother of two creates cakes for her children's birthdays every year. "I think it's your right of passage as a parent to make the kids' cakes," Kylie said. And each year she tries to get a little more adventurous.

Her latest triumph is the snowman character Olaf from the Disney movie Frozen.

"That's the hardest cake I've made, it nearly took all day," Kylie said.

Next she'll have a go at a Dolly Varden cake using the character Anna from the movie Frozen, for her daughter's fifth birthday.
