Crew called out to spider bite, but it was something else

AN ambulance crew has attended the scene of a suspected spider bite in Kawungan - but it turned out to be something else.
A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Media said the crew arrived at the home and discovered the person's injury was a reaction to a plant, not a spider bite.
First aid was given at the scene to relieve the symptoms.
The person was not taken to hospital.
