Crow, Cat set to clash in first Challenge run

SUPERSTARS Joel Selwood and Patrick Dangerfield, potential teammates next season, will go head-to-head in tomorrow night's NAB Challenge clash between Geelong and Adelaide at Simonds Stadium.

Selwood, reappointed captain of the Cats earlier this week, will play his first game of the year after missing Geelong's eight-point loss to the Suns in Townsville on March 1.

Dangerfield (pictured), overlooked for the skipper's role with the Crows this year, which prompted speculation he planned to return to Victoria once his contract expired at the end of this season, is also making his 2015 debut after sitting out Adelaide's 10-point win over North Melbourne in Port Lincoln, also on March 1.

Adelaide ruckman Sam Jacobs also returns to the line-up, but is expected to play as a back-up to youngster Reilly O'Brien who impressed against the Roos.

Star Cats on-baller Steve Johnson (foot) will miss again.
