Dancing dynamo to hit stage at Yeppoon Town Hall tonight

A NIGHT of virtuosic dance and hilarious physical theatre, by one man, is about to hit Yeppoon.

Contemporary dancer Joseph Simons, who is from Dubbo in New South Wales, will host his theatre performance First Things First at the Yeppoon Town Hall tonight at 7pm.

Simons blasted onto the international dance scene when he won the outstanding emerging artist award for Western Australia's AusDance in 2009.

Since then, he has toured the world with many of Australia's major dance companies, including the enormously popular Chunky Move.

Now, you can catch him live, performing his own special brand of dance theatre.

Following critically acclaimed seasons in Berlin and New York, Simons is thrilled to return home to perform First Things First for Australian audiences.

The performance begins in the foyer of the theatre, where Simons is hosting a party for all his guests.

This is your chance to meet him, have a chat, and be introduced to other members of the audience.
