DASH cam footage has captured a dangerous manoeuvre on a country road.

Phillip Macleod shared a video to Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page, showing what he believes could have easily become a head-on crash on the Goombungee-Meringandan Rd.

The incident occurred on January 4.

Mr Macleod's camera is positioned on the back of his vehicle and captured the moment a van undertakes another car, forcing it to move out of the way towards the middle of the road, travelling on the broken lines.

While being pushed towards the middle of the road, a car comes into view travelling in the opposite direction. Both cars come close to scrapping one another.

Once the van passes, the car is able to move back into a safe position.
