Decades of work behind art show at Zilzie restaurant

YEPPOON artist Gail Castles will exhibit her artwork at Coco's at an exhibition to remember.

The January 17 exhibition Gail Castles' Portraits and Paintings Exhibition will offer more than two dozen pieces.

The main subjects are graphite portraits that will delight in their exquisite detail.

Gail said this is her first exhibition after having painted and sketched for more than 30 years.

The artist shares her passion with family and friends but also does commission pieces by word of mouth.

When not working on her art, Gail works in an education support role at St Ursula's College, Yeppoon.

The Friday night opening will feature popular Yeppoon Duo Motherlove and canapes will be served.
