Indonesia sends delegation of 90 to Australia to find beef
INDONESIA'S Consul General yesterday told Beef Australia delegates that demand for beef in Indonesia was increasing and needed to be met with sufficient supply.
Mr Yayan GH Mulyana was speaking at a Q&A session which focused on ways leading beef industry players built and strengthened their global relations and supply chains.

"The increase in demand for beef and the number of clients is not just in Indonesia but throughout South-East Asia," Mr Mulyana said.
"That is why we've sent such a large delegation in relation to other countries."
Indonesia has 90 delegates at Beef Australia, looking to explore co-operation to secure sufficient supply, which is expected to be 640,000 tonnes this year, an increase of 8% on last year.
He said Indonesia was exploring both live cattle and processed meat.
