Deputy Premier will touch down in Rockhampton tomorrow

THE Deputy Premier will visit Rockhampton's Kershaw Gardens tomorrow to inspect the recovery efforts following Cyclone Marcia.

According to Rockhampton Council, Premier Trad along with Mayor Margaret Strelow and fellow councillors, will flick the switch to re-instate the waterfall which has been dry since the cyclone struck on February 20.

This will mark the first major milestone in the gradual re-claiming of the gardens since the closure last month.
