READERS DISCUSS: Driving in Rockhampton is dangerous

HERE is what our Morning Bulletin Facebook users had to say about yesterday's horrific traffic crash on the corner of Yaamba and Richardson Rds.

Darryl Hawker: The attitude of the drivers on the fatal five does not hit home until they are involved in an incident, by then it could be too late.

Amy Shepherd: Not paying attention. I saw one today where the flashing red train lights came on and the car in front kept going then decided to stop. If they didn't reverse they would have ended up with the boom gate crashing onto the car.

HeidinWozza Swadling: Rode my bike to work and was glad I got stuck in traffic. Five minutes earlier and I may have been catapulted through the air, after seeing this clip.

Sharron Payne: Too many people driving around not paying attention. I just hope they are all okay but doubt it. So sad.

Zoe-Lee Bellingham: This is why people need to pay attention on the road, put the phone down for 10 minutes while driving.
