Here's your chance to win this brand new VW ute

BRAD McBain is thrilled to be supplying the Volkswagen Amarok 4x4 ute for the "Win A Ute" competition.

The owner of Rockhampton Prestige has teamed up with The Morning Bulletin and Stockland Rockhampton to give Central Queenslanders the chance to win a new workhorse in the lead-up to Beef Australia 2015.

The single cab ute is fully decked out for all levels of enthusiasts with a tray back, bull bar, tow bar and snorkel.

Brad said the Amarok was superior to its other four-wheeled competition.

"The towing capacity is 3.2 tonne. It has electronic differential lock as standard where on a Hilux, Navara and other makes, you would be paying another $7000 for them as an after-market option," he said.

Brad said the ute was versatile enough to be used for weekend recreation or as a workhorse.

"Our peak torque and fuel economy is a market leader - 420 Newton-metres of torque is achieved at a mere 1580rpm," he said.

"This means that carry ability and fuel economy is second to none... this sort of vehicle is ideal for families, farmers and off-roaders. It has a spacious cabin and phenomenal off-road ability."

The "Win a Ute" competition will run from April 4, with entry forms being printed in The Morning Bulletin.

Simply spend $30 or more in-store at Stockland Rockhampton, pop your receipt and completed entry form into an envelope and drop it into the display vehicle at Stockland Rockhampton, Beef Australia or the competition box at Rockhampton Prestige.

The competition closes on May 8 so be sure to race in.
