Donna opens up her first exhibition themed on Capricorn area
YEPPOON artist Donna Frances is celebrating with the opening of her very first exhibition on May 17.
The exhibition comes after spending years of exploring different genres and using different mediums.
Donna said her love of all things art has been evident since she was a child.
"It is only in recent years, with the encouragement from friends and family that I have pursued my art more seriously," Donna said.
"I have had a few lessons with Frank Mackenzie Hunt and am now very excited to be having my very first exhibition.
"I am very fortunate that I have had a lot of support and while I am nervous about my first opening I am also thrilled to be able to share my art with others.
"The exhibition includes abstracts in a mixture of mediums and acrylic paint that are sure to inspire with vibrant colours and textures.
The theme is Capricorn Inspiration which explores a journey through the Capricorn region.
Specializing in boutique exhibitions, Artspace is a place for people to come and express themselves.
Artspace Arts and Language School Operator Frank Mackenzie Hunt said he is pleased to see Donna gaining confidence in her work and looks forward to her first exhibition.
