Four-year hair-growing stint over in minutes for Rocky man

IT TOOK four years for Orrin Spence to grow his long dreadlocks, but only minutes to shave them off to raise money for Cancer Council Queensland.

The Rockhampton man has almost reached his fundraising target of $10,000.

That has been done with $9347 in donations. Orrin shaved off his hair at the Oxford Hotel on November 16. He said he has had family members and friends both lose and win their battles with cancer.

To donate go to cancerqld.org.au.
