Drink driver caught on Moores Creek Rd after six beers

BENJAMIN Lee Davis won't be behind the wheel for three months after he was caught drink driving.

Police gave Davis an RBT on Moores Creek Rd at 4.15am on February 19.

He had a blood alcohol reading of 0.071% and told police that he had consumed six beers that night.

He told Rockhampton Magistrates Court that he realised the seriousness of his actions and that he put the safety of others at risk.

Davis was fined $450 and disqualified from driving.
