Hope and Anchor, Paddington: This new pub feels anything but with homey-feels that caress you like a warm hug from Grandma. The double-storey brick pub is where you want to be for a long, lazy session.

Holey Moley, Fortitude Valley: This is an 18-hole mini-golf course on steroids. Built across two levels in an old church, it's seriously funky and non-stop fun. Grab your mates, a drink and enjoy.

Sunset Spritz Bar, Customs House, Brisbane City: Aperol Spritz are all the rage right now, so get yourself to this bar that does them better than anyone else. There is a delectable menu on offer with oysters and truffled mushroom arancini so if you're feeling a little fancy, this is the place.

Chingon, Brisbane City: Gather your hombres and check out this little gem where the tacos are on point and the margaritas are even better. Chingon should be your go-to place for a late night cocktail and to feed the after-dark munchies.
