Driver swaps seats after hit and run at Northside Plaza

POLICE are on the look out for a black ute that was involved in a hit and run at Northside Plaza this morning.

Reports indicate a male and female swap seats after the incident before leaving the scene.

It is believed the incident took place in the carpark about 11.40am and the male was driving at the time of the incident.

The vehicle is a black Toyota Hilux 2006 model, registration plate 474 JSS, registered to a Cloncurry man.

Reports indicate the people associated with this ute have been tested positive for drugs in road side test along with other traffic offences.

No information available at this stage about what the ute hit.

It is unknown what direction the ute is travelling in.
