Jason Rich Foundation driving scheme backed by Chemist Own

FROM March to September, Cooee Bay Pharmacy, in partnership with Chemists' Own Brand Pharmaceuticals, is working to raise funds for the Jason Rich Foundation.

The foundation is a local charity that finances high school students through defensive driving courses.

Jason was a student at St Brendan's College in Yeppoon.

He died after a car accident in 2009 at the age of 21.

From March to September, for every Chemist Own "winter buy" product sold, 20c will be donated to the Jason Rich Foundation.

"Winter buy" products range from cold and flu tablets and antihistamines, right through to cough syrups and hand sanitiser as well.

Cooee Bay Pharmacy director Paul Tucker urged the community to support the campaign.
