BUSHFIRES, car crashes and duck rescues - it's all in a day's work for our firefighters.

Acting Station Officer Bruce Shelton and Firefighter Richard Sheehy from Maroochydore fire station had an interesting call out on Monday to some ducks stuck down a drain.

Queensland Fire and Rescue Service on Facebook said the little ones were handed over to a local wildlife team and reunited with Mother and Father Duck.
