Jamie Dwyer racks up milestone for Kookaburras in win

JAMIE Dwyer scored his 200th goal for the Australian Kookaburras on their way to an Oceania Cup hockey final win on Sunday.

Dwyer's 200th goal came in the Kookaburra's 16-0 win over Papua New Guinea on Saturday, qualifying Australia for the final against New Zealand.

Rockhampton-raised Dwyer, Australia's third most capped Kookaburra, scored a double in the win.

While Dwyer failed to find the back of the net, the Kookaburras outclassed a battling Black Sticks team 5-2 to win the men's Oceania Cup hockey final in Stratford, Taranaki on Sunday.
