Elderly pair transported to hospital after Burnett Hwy crash
AN ELDERLY man and woman are recovering in Rockhampton Hospital after the car they were travelling in rolled down a four-metre embankment off the Burnett Hwy near Bouldercombe at 8.30am yesterday.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one male was trapped for some time and suffered finger injuries and possible head injuries.
The female passenger suffered chest pain, believed to be caused by a seat belt.
The pair was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital, both in a stable condition.
