Get ready for Electronic Vibes
GET ready to pull out the fluorescent tank tops, some glow sticks and your best dance moves because the big guns of Aussie dance, dubstep and electro are coming to CQ for the first time.
Electronic Vibes Music Festival will be sending the Rockhampton Music Bowl into a frenzy of lights, sounds and screaming fans, something which it hasn’t seen in a while, bringing it to life for a full day of acts on Saturday.
Dubbed as ‘CQ’s greatest ever music festival,’ the event presented by Kelkatagory Entertainment, will be host to four stages, six genres and a whopping 50 artists.
Quite a big deal for Rockhampton, the Beef Capital was added to the list of the regional circuit, with Mackay, Townsville and Cairns in for the treat too.
Supplying some of the best acts that Australia and New Zealand have to offer, including Evermore (pictured), the Potbelleez, TV Rock, Zoe Badwi, Havana Brown, Vandalism, Emily Scott and many more, plus international act Alvaro, the non-stop party-fest is being greatly welcomed by the city.
Patrons should note there is no car parking or pedestrian access to the Rockhampton Music Bowl on the day – all attendees must catch one of the free shuttle bus services – running from four different locations around Rockhampton.
Buses will run to and from the South Rockhampton High School (Campbell Street next to Rockhampton Showgrounds), the main gate of the Frenchville State School (Frenchville Road), Stocklands Shopping Centre (outside Jetts Gym) and CQUniversity car park.
They will run every 10 mins to and from the Music Bowl.
There will also be a main bar, free water, food and ATM at the festival.
