Emazon spreads fitness message

STAND your ground: That is the message celebrity trainer Emazon wants to pass on when she visits Rockhampton next month.

The flame-haired trainer of Biggest Loser and Australia’s Next Top Model fame is holding workshops at AmbitionZ Health and Fitness on December 12 and 13, with places still available.

AmbitionZ owner Ingrid Cornelis said she organised the workshops because her members were fans of the hit TV series.

“A lot of people are into the Biggest Loser and everyone wants to lose weight,” said Ingrid.

“I was talking with some members and they said, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to get one of the trainers here,’ so I made a call.”

That call saw Emazon planning a trip to Rocky for a motivational workshop on Saturday, December 12, and two training sessions on Sunday, December 13.

There are 30 places for each training session, with only 11 spots left when the Morning Bulletin went to print.

“I kept some places for non-members,” Ingrid said.

“People need to get more out of their gym membership than just plugging away at it.

“If this works well I will be bringing her back, or it will be Michelle or it could be Shannon.”

Ingrid said anyone feeling like they needed a confidence boost or motivational push should attend the workshop.

“People who are a bit timid or don’t have a lot of self-confidence (should attend) because it will change them,” she said.

Ingrid has been speaking with Emazon daily and said she is not as intimidating as she appears on television.

To book your place in the workshop, a training session, or both, contact AmbitionZ Health and Fitness on 4921 4033.

AmbitionZ is giving away four free passes to the motivational workshop for non-members and those who register for both events go in the running to win an Emazon training package.

Emazon will also be signing autographs and posing for photos on Saturday from 11am and 4pm.
