Emerald man receives burns after 44 gallon drum explodes

AN EMERALD man has been taken to hospital after an explosion this morning.

The Queensland Ambulance Service transported the 22-year-old male to Emerald Hospital from Cameron Rd.

QAS tweeted that the man had received burns to arms and chest.

The service confirmed the burns were received from a 44 gallon drum with liquid inside exploded at 8.45am.
