End of an era for local artist

CECILIE Bolton has been a prolific and successful artist in the Yeppoon and Rockhampton communities for twenty- two years.

She has exhibited her work in the Mill Gallery Yeppoon as well as in the Rockhampton Art Gallery. Cecilie has also been the recipient of several major art prizes in some regional centres in Central Queensland. When Cecilie was not painting she was assisting with the organization of the Cooee Bay Art Camps which bought many talented art tutors and artists from all over Australia to attend workshops in Yeppoon.

These camps have been the creative source of many of Cecilie's paintings over the past two decades. As her life circumstances have changed, Cecilie and her husband William have had to downsize and move to a retirement village and hence the sale of her large collection of work.

The sale will be held at her studio at 6 Bradford Avenue Yeppoon this weekend, from 8am until 12pm. All of the collection has been heavily discounted for a quick sale. This is a once in a lifetime chance to purchase quality art at very low prices. Payments can be made by cash or cheques only.
