Adani hunting for workers to build massive mine

ADANI has started its search for workers for its Carmichael Mine in the Galilee Basin.

According to an advertisement on iMINCO website, Adani wants expressions of interest from workers for its project in the basin "which is set to be the biggest single coal province in the world".

Anyone interested in applying needs to have a standard 11 mining induction for Queensland mines, resume optimised for scanners, and black coal competencies for earth moving equipment including haul trucks.

"Because of the volume of applicants, you need to ensure these things are in place so you don't waste your initial application," the advertisement stated.

For more information about applying phone 5520 2522.
