Facebook favourite Fortafy at Flamingo’s this Saturday

IF YOU'VE liked something on Facebook recently, it's likely Fortafy shared it.

The New Zealand DJ, rapper, internet entrepreneur and body builder has become an internet sensation with hundreds of thousands of people watching videos he shares every day.

In little more than a year 28-year-old Fortafy has become Facebook's Most Talked About Fanpage, with almost four million followers on his account.

Fortafy, aka Sam Ratumaitavuki, is part of a new wave of internet entrepreneurs using social media to promote themselves and make a living.

He spends his days as a competitive bodybuilder and nights as an MC and club promoter for hot R&B spots Magic City in Brisbane and Shooters Superclub on the Gold Coast.

Sam is, however, best known as a member of the hip-hop group Fundamentalz who have recently received widespread proliferation through Australia and NZ with works from their most recent mix tape, Just Listen.

And this weekend he'll be getting the crowd going at Flamingo's on Quay alongside DJ NOIZ and DJ Markm from 9pm.

Foratfy has supported many live acts such as The Game, Dj Quik, Scribe, Savage and more. He also spends countless hours in the studio recording new music and also in front of the camera making music videos for his releases.
