FASHIONS on the Field judge and Stockland marketing manager Amanda Tippins-Kirk has congratulated "everyone'' for turning up to the Callaghan Park Caulfield Cup day in fine style.

"The best dressed on the day were all extremely well co-ordinated and very on trend," she said yesterday.

"Bursts of spring colour, structured dresses and the slightly eclectic outfits won out on the day with women sporting classic shapes with structure as well as some off-the-shoulder looks. Colour blocking and florals were also a hit this year."

Although the racing season is a time for women to dress to the nine's and put their best heel forward, some ladies can push the boundaries.

"Specifically for Fashions on the Field, the judges aren't looking for casual or night club attire," said Amanda.

"The winning outfits are always appropriate for the races."
