Man dies in traffic crash on Bruce Hwy near Miriam Vale

A MAN has died following a single vehicle traffic crash on Tuesday afternoon on the Bruce Highway about 40km south of Miriam Vale.

The vehicle was travelling northbound on the highway when it has lost control and rolled down an embankment at 3.50pm.

The driver of the vehicle, a 31-year-old Biloela man, died at the scene.

Two female passengers, a 32-year-old Biloela woman and a 50-year-old Robina woman, were transported to the Gladstone Base Hospital with minor injuries.

The Robina woman was admitted and is in a stable condition. The Biloela woman was not admitted to hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

A QPS spokesperson said that there had been a fatality, but could not confirm any further information.
