Favourties to rock the stage and bring the love to the coast
ONE of the Capricorn Coast's favourite duos, Motherlove, is set to bring its groove to the resident Club 28 band at the next Town Hall gig on May 24.
Motherlove's Nicole and Carl Leah make up the much loved duo that will bring their personal style to enrich the already full sound that is the Club 28 band.
Nicole grew up with jazz in her blood and is gifted with vocals that ooze emotion sure to touch the soul.
Carl's edgy rhythm guitar screams rock and roll background and together they blend to offer an amazing contemporary jazz duo that has become increasingly popular in the Central Queensland region.
Carl said the couple was thrilled to have been invited to join the Club 28 band and add its sound and expertise to the already amazing line-up.
"This will be something different for us and we are both very excited to be part of such a popular event," Carl said.
Motherlove has impressed many music lovers in the region with performances including Jazz on Quay-Riverside Stage Rockhampton, Pinefest, Brisbane to Keppel Yacht race, the Great Australian Beach Party in Yeppoon, Village Festival, Coco's at Seaspray, Mercure Capricorn Resort, Megalomania Bar and Bistro and countless corporate and private functions.
Adding the popular Club 28 to its already impressive portfolio, the duo is sure to be a hit on the stage this Friday night.
Club 28 will be held on May 24 at Yeppoon Town Hall.
Tickets are available from Yellow Door Bookshop in Yeppoon.
The Swans Football Club will be running the bar at the event to raise funds to help with the costs of replacing and increasing the lighting around the playing fields.
