Filmed fight between teen girls is being investigated

AS SICKENING blows rained down on the body of a teenage girl, onlookers pressed record.

A video of two female girls, believed to be in their teens, fighting at a north Rockhampton school emerged on social media on Wednesday.

Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Dean said Rockhampton police were aware of a fight.

"We responded to reports of a fight but when we got there, it was all over," Snr Sgt Dean said.

"There were some street checks done and some youths were spoken to and investigations are continuing."

Snr Sgt Dean reiterated the One Punch Can Kill message.

"Fighting solves nothing," Snr Sgt Dean said.

"It is much better to resolve problems in a peaceful manner. One punch can be deadly."
