Fighting back from drug use

EVERY day in Rockhampton, government agencies like ATODs (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs) are working to rehabilitate drug addicts into the community.

ATODs is an arm of Queensland Health that deals every day with drug addicts and alcoholics.

Alcohol, tobacco and other drug services are provided to the community.

These services can provide information, assessment, counselling, treatment and referral.

The ATOD branch is dedicated to the development of state-wide policy, programs and services for the prevention of addictive drugs.

If you would like help or seek information you can contact the Alcohol and Drug Information Service on 1800 177 833. It is a free call 24 hours a day.

Or visit www.health.qld.gov.au/atod.
