Woman fined for having knife at a BP service station

KELLIE Ann Franklin was fined $450 after pleading guilty in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Friday to possessing a knife in a public place.

The court heard Franklin was searched by police at the BP Service Station in Marmor on May 20.

They were originally called to the premises in regards to a disturbance between Franklin and another person.

Franklin said she used the small pocket knife for fishing.
